Malachi Lake - Lots 3 and 5

Malachi Lake is located north east of Kenora and is accessible via Minaki Hwy 596 and by staying right to the end of Pickerel Lake Road, which terminates at the Malachi docking and parking area.  Driving time to this docking site is about 40 minutes from Dairy Queen.

Malachi is a scenic lake about 8 kms in total length.  The subject properties are situated on a point surrounded by crown land in the lower portion of the lake which has minimal development, just across from but not in view of the community docking site.  The lots will each support a septic system and current residents have good cellular service with a booster aerial; therefore internet access should also be available.

Property:

Both lots have a relatively low height profile relative to the water’s edge and have full tree cover of the area.  Both lots have crown land as a neighbour on one side and enjoy wide views of distant wilderness in natural state.  Water depths and shoreline are suitable for recreational purposes, and the one chain shoreline road allowance has been purchased in both cases – so the lands are owned to the high water mark.  There is usually an ice road on Malachi Lake and thus winter access is considered a benefit for ease of building and frequency of year round enjoyment.

Lot 3 has approx. 130 feet of lake frontage with depths of about 405 – 455 feet and width across the rear of 129 feet.  Land acreage is estimated at about 1.2 acres, and this lot faces west.

Lot 5 has approx. 131 feet of lake frontage with depths of about 556 – 587 feet and width across the rear of 129 feet.  Land acreage is estimated at about 1.7 acres, and this lot faces north.
